Production System to Shorten Lead Times
We make efforts to decrease lead times and production costs by keeping only the necessary number of parts in handy places, performing 5S activities on a daily basis, and arranging equipment layout to eliminate useless work processes.
Additionally, we provide various kinds of education such as cutting, machining, welding, assembling, grinding, and protective packing to our employees so that they can perform various kinds of projects. Therefore, we can deal with rush orders.
1st Factory
The first factory was constructed 30 years ago. Although it is an old building, it gives a fresh and comfortable impression because the inner walls were painted in light colors by the employees. By making improvements to the work environment, small problems can be found easily. Consequently, it leads to the provision of high quality products.
Additionally, we repeatedly review the layout of machinery and streamline the production processes to decrease lead times and production processes.
Moreover, we contrive to keep tools in handy places and simplify the changeover processes of dies to improve productivity.
2nd Factory
Previously, a grinding room was constructed outside of the factory because dust and particles are produced in the room. However, we reconstructed the grinding room in the factory as an independent compartment to shorten the transfer distance, transfer a large number of workpieces, and eliminate useless processes.
The key to production cost reduction is the contrivances of jigs. We have established a system to fabricate simple jigs and dies internally. This advantage makes us competitive in terms of production speeds and costs.
